Today Lorenz successfully defended his PhD thesis – congrats!

Thanks to everybody who contributed to the journey which started back in 2019 with a successful field trip to Huaraz/Peru, was cruelly interrupted by the Covid pandemic which basically halted all planned field activities and then triggered lots of creative “work-arounds” that in the end resulted in a unique dissertation.
